Who Cares Wins Awards
Amongst such tough competition, Amandip’s win is a testament to his hard work, vision and determination to see proper support for healthcare workers mental health. After his brother took his own life, Amandip channelled his grief into establishing a charity that could help other healthcare workers. There are not many people who would have the strength and courage to embark on a project like this in the midst of such sadness.
We are so grateful to Amandip for the continuing support he gives us and the charity and we will continue to do all we can to ensure that healthcare workers receive the support and care for their mental health that they deserve.
Amandip said “I am truly honoured to have been nominated, let alone successful in being voted the Caroline Flack Mental Hero at the annual Who Cares Wins Awards. I don’t see myself as a hero but I felt I had to stand up for what I believe in and help protect the mental health of those that care for us. This award also goes to the cohort of trustees, ambassadors, staff and volunteers who work so hard to help achieve our missions”
